To Taste Wine or Enjoy the Experience

Wine Tasting evokes images of sparkling crystal glasses with unique logos that glimmer

 in the lights or sunshine while the wine sparkles in its confines.

Is it just about the wine or does the whole experience really define the wine?

For me, it was all about the experience. 

 

The essence of any wine is defined by the whole experience. Ask any wine lover or experienced connisseur how they gauge the taste and feel of the wine. I'm a novice just starting out so my opinions are purely subjective. I am setting out on a quest to understand wines and the passion for wine. Along with that, I realize that one must first understand the beginnings of each one then take the journey to that first sip. Now how that staging is set for the first taste of any wine, really does matter. In fact, it is crucial to the one tasting for a life long relationship is being forged in that first instance when the wine and the connisseur's lips first meet. It is a romance based upon the whole ambiance of the experience, akin to a lover's first kiss. Unforgettable. Forged into the mind and feeling body forever.
